Facial Products That Work For Me

I'm always on the lookout for new facial products. I have oily skin and break out a lot. I always change my products but I have a few that I always keep around.

1) Olay Purifying Mud Lathering Cleanser.

I LOVE IT. It's a daily cleanser that deep cleans to purify skin's surface with the cleansing power of a mask. It's my favourite cleanser. It leaves your skin feeling clean, smooth and it doesn't dry up your skin. You only need a pea-sized amount.

2) Clean & Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub

I also love this product. It's awesome. It gently exfoliates to clean deep down-to-the-pores. When you It makes you feel refreshed with an unmistakable tingle of a really deep clean.

3) Nivea Visage Gentle Toner

This toner gently clarifies and soothes, leaving the skin soft and supple. It's alcohol-free and it doesn't dry out your skin. Afterwards, you feel clean and refreshed.

Black Shatter By OPI

Katy Perry recently came out with an OPI nail polish collection. It consists of five different nail polishes. 

 

1) Last Friday Night (light blue shimmer)

2) Not Like The Movies (gray gunmetal)

3) The One That Got Away (shimmery burgundy)

4) Teenage Dream (pink with rainbow-coloured shimmers)

5) Black Shatter (black with a shatter effect) -------->

I went to the mall about two days ago to buy Black Shatter. I went to about three stores and they were all sold out!!! As I was leaving, I saw a nail polish stand and decided to ask one last time. I couldn't believe my luck! This store had Black Shatter in stock!

I got home and applied Black Shatter on top of a gold-yellow base coat. It looked really cool! It takes a while to get used to the concept. If you put too much Black Shatter on, the shatter effect won't be as good but if you put too little, it won't look good either.

When I first saw the finished product, it was kinda weird and cool at the same time. Over time, you get more used to it.Each nail is different.

One thing is that you need a base coat. Preferably a light or bright colour. Black Shatter doesn't show as well on a dark base coat.

Over all, I love this nail polish. It's different and looks cool.

Two things that I dislike is that the nail polish wand had a bit of dry clumps on it and it cost me $20.

I would repurchase this.

What to Pack In Your Tennis Bag

The first time I got a tennis bag, I didn't know what to pack. I know I'm not the only one. There are so many essential things you need to have at all times. Whether you are playing a match or just out practicing, it is important to have these 10 things in your tennis bag.

1) Tennis rackets. You need to have about 3 tennis rackets in your bag. You can have more or less depending on your level of play.
2) Water. It is crucial to have water at all times. Getting dehydrated is not fun when you are in the middle of an important match.
3) Extra clothes. You need to have a spare change of clothes. Extra t-shirt, socks, and hats.
4) Towels/Wristbands. When you're sweating, it's good to have a towel/wristband on hand. It prevents slippery grips and you're not dripping in sweat.
5) Sunscreen. In the summer, you have to have sunscreen.
6) First Aid Kit. A pack of bandages is good to have in case of a blister/scrape.
7) Extras. You never know when you'll need extra overgrips, strings, shock dampeners or lead tapes.
8) Skipping rope. For your warm up, it's good to have a skipping rope on hand.
9) Food/Drinks. It's good if you have energy bars or energy drinks in case you get tired or have to play for a long time.
10) Notebook. It's a good idea to have a notebook. There, you can record your scores, mistakes, questions or things you want to work on.
